Welcome Everyone to Liverpool Snowriders 2009/2010!

Thanks for everyone who came to see us at fresher’s fair and signed up to our website, we had a really successful day.

Here are the antics we have planned for you over the next two weeks (sorry for the essay):

1^st social :

Date: This Thursday (1^st Oct)

Time:  7:00 pm – Late (prize draw given at 7.30)

Venue: Gilmour Lounge (in the Guild), then moving on to Revs at 8:30

Details: This is a great chance to meet the fellow snowriders and get merry! Make sure you have paid your membership by Thursday (by going to the sports hall reception) to be entered into the raffle (where you have the chance to win a FREE HOLIDAY, a FREE PAIR OF SKI’S or a SNOWBOARD, a FREE SUBSCRIPTION TO FALL-LINE MAGAZINE and DOCUMENT SNOWBOARD, 2 x FREE CLUB MEMBERSHIPS, 2 x CHILL FACTOR PASSES, a CLUB HOODY and loads of other goodies)... Good times!

1^st Trip (Chill Factor taster)  

Date: Wednesday 7^th October

Time:  5pm – 9ish (coach leaves at 3:45ish from the guild)

Venue: Chill Factore

Available places: 60

Details: This is a taster day to have a play in the snow at the special one off Price of £10! There will be rails and jumps set up and a plain slope just to cruise down on. We will have around 1 and half hours on the slope, then cheap drinks in the bar after (pints and sprits and a mix only £1.50 J).   

Booking will go up on the weekly trips page in the next few days.

*Please email jamesrichmond@liverpoolski.com if you wish to have ski or snowboard lesson, please state if you would like just a one off taster, or go on a course of 3 lessons (which begins on 14^th of Oct).

1^st AU night

Date: Wednesday 7^th October

Time: 9ish (If you’re on the chill factore trip bring your fancy dress with you and will go straight to my crib after for pre-drinks! If you’re not on the trip you can come join us at mine!)

Revenue: Revolution

Details: Fancy dress fun...each sport club has a different theme (Tom will let everyone know what we have planned shortly:P)

The website will be officially pimped by the end of this week and you will be able to check out all the shenanigans we have lined up for you this year and have details of our sponsors promotion codes, so you can buy discounted clothing and equipment.

We were the biggest club in the Uni last year by miles, so it’s time to get even bigger ;)!
